Bike ride out to Austin

This year getting out to Austin for SXSW was a little different than other years.
I rode my motorcycle out there.
It was 1,500 miles over 5 days.
I rode out there with Patrick O'Dell.
and Ky from Victoria, BC
We chilled out while Ky got pulled over for splitting lanes in Phoenix
We stayed the first night in Tempe.
Graffiti at Green in Tempe
Checking weather on the iphone
We stayed right next to this place but didn't eat here. Next time...
Coffee at Whole Foods in Tucson

After Pheonix we made it to Los Cruces.
Pat had a friend there who had an empty house we could crash at.

Denny's for coffee

We held up in Los Cruces for 2 nights to avoid the rain.
We covered the bikes, anticipating the down pour
This is the crash pad
This is the interior. We went to a movie theater and watched Crazy Heart then snuck into see She's out of your League. Disappointing to say the least. After that we came back to the pad and watched Mad Max. It fuckin' blew the other movies away! Obviously.

We rode around Los Cruces. The crazy rain storm we were expecting never really got super harsh.

Pat in his rain gear.

This was a rad slot machine we saw at a gas station.

Oh Yeah!!!

Stopping for gas was the only chance I had to snap photos.
We stayed somewhere in Texas off the 10 the next night. I don't remember much about it.
Then to Austin!
We made it! Sweet!!!
